Server position is responsible for assisting guests' needs through friendliness, attentiveness, cleanliness, and speed. These duties include genuine greeting at the door, being proactive in anticipating guest needs, ensuring that all guest areas are clean and sanitized, and walking with a purpose.
The server sets the mood for the guest experience and can positively ensure that the guest will come back. The server also has secondary duties to prepare for the guests when not actively serving.
